Alejandro Jassan is a Mexican curator and critic specialized in contemporary art. He currently coordinates events and external communications for the Alexander Gray Associates' programmatic and curatorial activities. He is the co-founder of COED Contemporáneo, a curatorial initiative created to foster the cultural exchange between Latin America and United States. An independent critic since 2012, his reviews, essays, profiles, and interviews have appeared regularly in Elle Mexico and The Wild. In the past, he has worked as a designer and social media manager at The Water Tank Project, as assistant advisor to Fiore Art Advisory, and junior graphic designer at Elle Mexico. He holds a BA in Graphic Design from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City, and a MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York. He currently resides in New York City.
