Leah Thomason Bromberg received her MFA from California College of the Arts in May 2014 and her BFA from Cornell University in 2008. She attended “In Kind” Negotiations, a residency for indigenous artists at the Banff Centre during late 2014.  Earlier in the spring she was the recipient of CCA’s Barclay Simpson Award.  She has exhibited at Pirate: Contemporary Art in Denver, CO, as well as in Virginia, New York, and California.  She grew up in Fredericksburg, VA, and is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation.  Most of her time is spent making oil paintings and dreaming about saving her family from cataclysmic events. Currently she lives and works in London.
